2020 has a pivotal effect on the world and on NACAA as an organisation. This presentation will explore the effects of this event, both positive and negative, on astronomy associations and NACAA as an ongoing conference.

David O'Driscoll is an amateur astronomer in Brisabne and a member of the AAQ, where he has held several management positions, including President. His first NACAA was in Canberra in 2010, and he was part of the LOC for the Queensland event in 2012. Since that time he has had roles with the Program Committee and the NACAA Secretariat.
