There are lots of options for getting to Queensland University, and these are detailed below.
Click here to view the location of the convention venue, the nearby accommodation in Toowong, and the Brisbane CBD.
The main entrance to the University is along Sir Fred Schonell Drive, located on Map 179 F2 of the UBD Brisbane "Refidex" Street Directory. From Brisbane's Central Business District, Sir Fred Schonell Drive is most easily accessed via Coronation Drive.
There is no charge for parking in the university over Easter and parking is available in a number of locations close to the Parnell Building. Please visit the UQ Parking website for information about Visitor parking on campus.
We expect that most out of town visitors will be staying at accommodation in the Toowong area, which is a major hub that locals will pass through to access the University. NACAA will operate a car pooling arrangement, whereby visitors can arrange to be picked up by locals passing through, or by visitors staying nearby with their own transport. Please fill in our car-pooling questionnaire if you need transport, or can provide it.
The CityCat ferry is the most enjoyable and often the most convenient means of getting to the St Lucia campus especially from Brisbane City. The CityCat terminal at the university is located near the corner of Sir William MacGreggor Drive and Blair Drive. The Regatta ferry terminjal is located close to Toowong.
